"We really do need each other!"

I encourage you today to not lose heart. I have learned that the Word is true in every single way. God's thoughts are not our thoughts and His ways are not our ways, but He is FAITHFUL!
Rejoicing today as I shared with the Men's Prayer Patrol a story of the Lord's faithfulness in my life and the life of a dear friend. The prayers we prayed years ago are fresh on the mind of our God.

"But do not forget one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years and a thousand years are like a day. The Lord is NOT slow in in keeping His promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance."
-2 Peter 3:8-9 NIV

We receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon us and dwells within us. With this power we are to be His witnesses to all we come in contact with. No it does not mean you have to preach with words, but the most powerful sermon you can preach is with the way you live and love others. The bottom will fall out at some point and most people look for a solid foundation. Christ in YOU!

"Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their work: If one falls down, his friend can help him up. But pity the man who falls and has no one to help him up!"
